The RA-CO history

Everything started in 1991 in a small canteen in Erfurt with a small assortment. Founder and chief executive of the company, Wolfgang Schreck, was national trainer in track in GDR and knows what is important in cycling. 

27. 11. 1990
The "Radsport (Cycling)-Componenten (components)-distribution GmbH (limited liability company)" is bringing into being through Wolfgang Schreck and Heiko Persch (successful bicyle wholesaler RAT) by notarial accreditation.
 
1991
Launch the product CYCLUS-Tools.

1993
Start with design and production of individual sports apparel.

1994
Move into a new and bigger company building in Erfurt's business park in Kerspleben.

1995

Supplement of the assortment by manual production own racing cycle and trekking bicycle.

since 01. January 1998
Wolfgang Schreck will be sole chief executive.

2008
Doubling the storage space.

Today, 20 years later, supplies the RA-CO internationally. The RA-CO GmbH Erfurt will continue to build on the proven pillars of its success: Best products, optimal service and well directed marketing are the guarantee that our well-known brand in the international market will continue to be successful and our customers receive quality and optimum service.
